God of Darkness

In the Swamp of Darkness lair, the Water Monster rises once a day. Kill it within 10 minutes and the God of Darkness awakens.

The God of Darkness arrived on October 8, 2026, from MU Season 16. It is a boss of the Swamp of Darkness, in the lair at 184, 18.

How it works#

1. Five minutes before, a chat announcement says the lair is about to open.
2. The Water Monster rises, with eight Swamp Summoned Beasts around it. You have 10 minutes to kill it.
3. When the Water Monster falls, the God of Darkness awakens. Another 10 minutes to defeat it.
4. If time runs out in either phase, the darkness retreats and the lair closes.

After each appearance, successful or not, the lair returns 18 to 24 hours later. The next time is shown in the Bosses panel.

Rewards#

• God of Darkness: major boss drop.
• Water Monster: medium boss drop.
• Whoever dealt the most damage gets the owner prize; whoever helped with at least 10% of the damage gets the participation prize, like the other bosses.
• Both join the bosses' strengthening: if they die too fast, they come back stronger.

Tips#

• The Swamp Summoned Beasts hit hard. Go as a group.
• The lair is inside the Swamp of Darkness, a master map.
