What's worth farming
Where your time pays off the most — jewels, excellent, zen or experience — with the numbers behind it and the daily luck limits.
Every hour of play is a choice. This page compares the options with the real numbers, so you can decide where to spend yours.

Experience#
Compare what each route pays per run, for a high-level character:
| Source | Per run | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Illusion Temple 6 (comfortable win) | up to 2.4 million | 6× per day |
| Illusion Temple 6 (defeat) | 500,000 to 1.1 million | same |
| Crywolf (high rank, win) | 1.8 million | 2× per week |
| Imperial Fortress (level 400) | 390,000 (585,000 on Sunday); up to 590,000 with Master Level | 1 per hour |
| Devil Square 6 | 24,000 + 4× spot exp for 20 min | 12× per day |
| Blood Castle 7 | 120,000 + 3× spot exp for 15 min | 12× per day |
The Illusion Temple is the best experience deal on the server: six runs a day, and even when you lose you take home at least half a million.
But notice the detail about Devil Square and Blood Castle: the final prize is small, but every monster is worth 4× (Devil Square) or 3× (Blood Castle) the experience of the typical spot for your level for the whole event. That is usually worth far more than the prize.
The multipliers are worth more than the spot#
Before looking for a better map, add up your bonuses:
| Source | Maximum |
|---|---|
| VIP 20 | +100% |
| Guild 10 | +20% |
| Weather and night | +35% |
| Gens Grand Duke | +6% |
| Total | +161% |
A character with all of this earns two and a half times what one with none of it earns — in the same spot, with the same effort. The VIP bonus only applies with an active subscription.
And remember the penalty: a monster 10 levels below you already cuts experience. See levels and experience.
Jewels#
Jewels are the most liquid product on the server: there's always a buyer on the global market. And the NPC doesn't buy jewels, so they are only worth something between players.
From regular monsters#
Each jewel's chance grows with the monster's level (up to level 120), and each one only drops from a minimum level: Chaos from 12, Bless from 20, Soul from 25, Life and Creation from 46, Gemstone from 70 and Guardian from 90. Farming low maps yields fewer jewels — at level 80, a Jewel of Chaos drops on average every ~3,000 kills; below level 28, the chance is only 35% of that.
The full table is in jewels and in Drops and rarity.
Remember that rain and storms cut 10% of the drop chance, and snow doesn't.
The daily luck budget#
Your account has a daily cap of valuable items coming from field monsters and from the Golden Invasion:
| Tier | Full chance up to | Then, with 1/4 of the chance, up to | After that |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rare (Chaos, Bless, Soul…) | 8 | 16 | stops dropping |
| Epic (Life, Creation, Gemstone, 1-option excellent…) | 3 | 6 | stops dropping |
| Legendary (Guardian, 2-option excellent…) | 1 | 2 | stops dropping |
The day is Brasília's (it resets at midnight). Switching characters doesn't help: the budget belongs to the account. Bosses and events neither count toward nor respect this cap — they have their own limit.
In practice: the first hours of the day yield most of the luck. After the cap, hunting still pays experience, zen and common items.
From bosses, invasions and events#
- Major bosses (Kundun, Medusa, Selupan, Nightmare, Erohim, Balgass…): whoever hit the most gets, in the Gremory Case, one Epic jewel and one or two Rare ones guaranteed, with a chance of excellent and of a Legendary jewel — up to 3 of these prizes per account per day. Anyone who dealt at least 10% of the damage gets zen and a chance of a Rare jewel.
- Golden Invasion: each golden monster gives a Box of Kundun to whoever hit the most, at most 2 per account per round, and the box counts toward the daily budget.
- Events: Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle, Illusion Temple (1× per account per day), Doppelganger and Imperial Fortress (up to 3 fortresses with a prize per account per day) pay jewels by table. Gens pays Bless and Soul by ranking position.
Each one's numbers are in Bosses, invasions and events.
Excellent items#
- Regular monsters level 25+, outside event maps: 150 in 1 million per kill. 85% come with one option (Epic) and 15% with two (Legendary) — and they count toward the daily budget.
- Major boss: 40% chance of an excellent (1 option 70%, 2 options 30%) in the owner prize, and 3% of one with three options.
- Box of Kundun: from 15% (+1) to 35% (+5) excellent, with a chance of two options on the +4 and +5.
- Event maps and Kalima: 0.3% of common items come out excellent.
In other words: for excellent, bosses and invasions pay more than sitting in a spot, but a high-level spot also pays, slowly. See excellent.
Zen#
Each kill has a 30% chance of dropping a zen pile, and the value grows with the square of the monster's level: on average 9 zen per kill at level 10, 74 at level 60 and 162 at level 100. See zen.
The bonuses, which apply only to the pile:
| Source | Bonus |
|---|---|
| VIP 20 (active subscription) | +100% |
| Guild 10 | +10% |
| Excellent piece with the zen option | +30% each |
Selling to the NPC pays little and only for common equipment. The economy was calibrated so an average player (900 kills per hour, on a map of their level, counting piles and sales) earns roughly:
| Map level | Zen per hour |
|---|---|
| 10 | 12,000 to 20,000 |
| 30 | 35,000 to 60,000 |
| 60 | 90,000 to 150,000 |
| 100 | 220,000 to 380,000 |
| 130 | 350,000 to 600,000 |
Repair and potions should stay within 15% of that each. See Zen: earning and spending.
If you need zen fast: the Imperial Fortress pays up to 1.25 million per boss, and Blood Castle 7 pays 300,000 per win.
Fenrir, level 3 wing and 4th wing material#
- Splinter of Armor, Bless of Guardian and Claw of Beast, the Horn of Fenrir materials, drop from any monster level 60 to 150, on any map: 1 in 1,000 per kill, each. They don't count toward the budget.
- Condor Flame drops from monsters level 100+, very rare (15 in 1 million), and counts as Epic in the budget.
- Garuda's Flame, the 4th wing material, drops in Deep Dungeon 2 to 5 and in Red Smoke Icarus, rarely. The Deep Dungeon Gorgon can drop the flame (5%) and a ready Garuda's Feather (1%). Both count as Epic in the budget.
Socket items#
They only drop in six maps: Raklion 1 and 2, Urk Montain, Ferea, Nars and Nixie Lake.
Today you can't fill the sockets, because the spheres depend on ancient items, which don't exist yet. But pieces that drop with 3, 4 or 5 sockets are rare and will be worth a lot when the system opens.
Keep them, don't sell — and the NPC doesn't even buy socket items.
Refining material#
The Jewel of Harmony and the refining stones don't drop from monsters and aren't sold by NPCs. The path is Elpis, in the Kanturu Tower, which only opens after someone kills Nightmare. Outside of it, they only show up, rarely, in boss prizes and in the Box of Kundun +4 and +5.
Two routines are worth gold:
- Collect Gemstones. They drop from any monster of level 70 or higher and turn into a Jewel of Harmony with 100% chance.
- Keep the excellent items you don't use. Fusing an excellent item gives a guaranteed Higher refining stone. Fusing a common item is a coin toss.
A daily routine#
If you have two or three hours and want to make the most of it:
- Start by hunting the highest map you can handle, preferably an open map at night. The luck budget is full at the start of the day.
- Check the server clock. Fit your session into a Golden Invasion (03:15, 07:15, 11:15, 15:15, 19:15, 23:15).
- Enter the Illusion Temple at the nearest time — it's the best experience of the day.
- Run the Devil Square or Blood Castle that's coming up.
- When you leave, keep auto-hunt on in the hardest map you can handle — offline progress only counts that way, uses the average level there and spends your daily hunting quota.
- Wednesday and Saturday at 20:30, drop everything and go to Crywolf. If the fortress falls, the whole server loses 30% experience until the next battle.
