Earrings

The Season 15 and 16 earrings — two slots (left and right), six tiers, rolled options and a set bonus when the pair is of the same tier.

Earrings arrived on October 8, 2026, from MU Seasons 15 and 16. They go into two slots of their own in the inventory — L (left) and R (right), on the pentagram row — and take no equipment slot.

The tiers#

TierEarring (L)LevelEarring (R)Level
1Rage Earring (L)300Rage Earring (R)700
2Ancestral Earring (L)700Ancestral Earring (R)750
3Earring of Honor (L)750Earring of Honor (R)800
4Blood Earring (L)800Blood Earring (R)850
5Daze Earring (L)850Daze Earring (R)900
6Binding Earring (L)900Binding Earring (R)950

The level is the total level (400 + Master Level), like the other new items. The (R) is the tier's "II" version and needs the next tier's level.

What they give#

  • Damage: each earring adds a damage percentage (by tier and +level) and a bit of defense.
  • Options: each earring drops with 1, 2 or 3 options (20%, 40% and 40% chance), rolled from 5:
    • (L): skill damage, attack and wizardry, excellent damage, critical damage, max life.
    • (R): attack speed, excellent chance, critical chance, max AG, max mana.
  • Set: with the L and the R of the same tier equipped, the pair gives ignore defense and all stats, and from Blood onward also damage.
  • From tier 2 on, the attack and excellent/critical damage options grow with the earring's +level.

A Binding +15 pair with three options each adds about 20% damage while hunting.

+level and tier#

  • Lapidary Stone (Chaos Machine, "Earring: Lapidary Stone" recipe): raises the earring +1, from +0 up to +15. On failure the earring stays at the level it was — only the stones and the zen are gone. Cost and chance in the Lapidary Stone table below.
  • The old way still works: Jewel of Bless and Jewel of Soul raise the earring like any item (up to +9), and +10 to +15 is the Chaos Machine refining. Jewel of Life does not work.
  • Tier up (Chaos Machine, "Earring: tier up" recipe): earring +11 to +15 + the next tier's frame + 20 Jewel of Bless + 20 Jewel of Soul + Jewel of Chaos + Jewel of Creation + 5,000,000 zen. The chance is 60% at +11 and rises 10% per level, up to 100% at +15. The new earring comes out +0, same side, with new options. On failure, everything is lost.

Lapidary Stone#

Each attempt raises the earring one level. The chance is 60% from +0 to +6 and 80% from +7 to +14.

How to get them#

  • Rage Earring (L): drops from bosses (Kundun, Medusa, Selupan, Nightmare, Erohim, Balgass, Queen Vespara and the invasion bosses — the bigger the boss, the higher the chance) and, rarely, in the S16 maps.
  • Rage Earring (R): from the major bosses and, rarely, in the master maps.
  • Frames: in the master maps, each in its own (table above).
  • Lapidary Stone: stacks in the inventory. Drops from bosses — major boss 30% (sometimes 2), medium boss 10%, minor boss 2% — and, rarely, in the S16 and master maps.
