Raklion and Selupan
Break 15 eggs to wake the spider queen and face a stationary boss that casts one skill per second, heals, summons turrets and turns invincible at the end.
The Raklion Hatchery is the only event on the server triggered by the players, not by the clock. You break the eggs, the queen wakes up, and the fight begins.
The boss is called Selupan — but you will see him announced as "Jupiter" when he appears and as "Enok the Spider Queen" when he dies. It is three names for the same monster.
How to enter#
- Minimum level: 270.
- You must be in Raklion.
- No item, zen or NPC required. Use the ENTER button on the 🐉 Bosses panel, in the MENU.
There is no player limit.
The entrance stays closed while the fight is already happening with the gate locked, during the five minutes of reopening, and during the cooldown after Selupan dies.
The Hatchery has no exit portal. To leave, use normal travel or die — either way takes you back to Raklion.
The cycle#
| Phase | Duration | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Eggs | no time limit | 15 Spider Eggs in the nest |
| Awakening | 5 seconds | Selupan appears |
| Fight with the gate open | 5 minutes | you can still enter |
| Fight with the gate closed | no time limit | no one else gets in |
| Reopening | 5 minutes | the Hatchery empties |
| Cooldown | up to 4 hours after Selupan's death | Hatchery closed; the eggs only come back afterwards |
There is no schedule: the event starts over as soon as the eggs come back. If Selupan won (no one was left), the eggs return right after the reopening. If he died, the nest stays empty until the 4-hour cooldown is over.
The eggs#
There are 15 Spider Eggs, with 40,000 health each. They don't attack, don't move and don't drop anything — they are just health to chew through.
When 5 or fewer remain, the server warns that Selupan is about to awaken. That's your cue to regroup and drink potions.
The fight#
| Level | 145 |
| Health | 4,800,000 |
| Damage | 2,500 to 3,000, plus fury |
| Defense | 1,250 |
These are the base values. Like every boss, Selupan is adaptive: if the server kills him too fast or with too few people, he comes back stronger — see the Empowerment tab on the 🐉 Bosses panel.
Selupan doesn't move and has no basic attack: all of his damage comes from skills. He casts one skill per second, drawn from the ones the current pattern unlocks.
When he appears, he opens with a tremor that pushes and hurts anyone within 4 tiles. Don't wait right on top of the spot where he spawns.
The skills#
| Skill | Reach | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Poison | up to 6 tiles from him | heavy hit and poison for 10 seconds (3% of current health every 2 s), unless you resist poison |
| Ice Storm | up to 8 tiles from him | two hits in a row on everyone in the area |
| Ice Strike | up to 6 tiles from him | heavy hit and knockback: Dark Knight, Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord fly up to 10 tiles; the other classes, 2 |
| Freeze | his target only | stuns for 5 seconds, wherever the target is; Iron Defense protects |
| Teleport | — | he vanishes and reappears up to 5 tiles away, dropping his target |
| Invincible | — | 10 seconds immune to all damage (last pattern only) |
Note the reach: every area is centered on him, not on the target. Whoever attacks from more than 8 tiles away escapes Poison, Ice Storm and Ice Strike — the only risk left is Freeze, if you are his target. Riding a Dark Horse, you are not knocked back.
The patterns#
As his health drops, Selupan unlocks more skills and enters fury: each fury level adds +300 damage to all skills.
| Health | Skills | Fury |
|---|---|---|
| above 80% | Poison, Ice Storm, Ice Strike, Teleport | — |
| 80% to 60% | + Freeze | +300 |
| 60% to 50% | the same | +600 |
| 50% to 40% | + healing | +600 |
| 40% to 20% | + summoning | +900 |
| 20% to 10% | the same | +1,200 |
| below 10% | + Invincible | +1,200 |
Each new pattern is announced in the Hatchery chat.
Healing starts at 50%: every 20 seconds he recovers 1% of his maximum health — 48,000 points. Your group needs to deal more than 2,400 damage per second, sustained, just to not lose ground.
Summoning starts at 40%: every 15 seconds, if fewer than 6 are alive, a Coolutin (88,000 health) or an Iron Knight (95,000 health) spawns within 2 tiles of him. They don't walk — they stay there like turrets, hitting anyone who gets close to the boss.
Invincibility is the final test. Below 10%, Invincible joins the draw, and every time it comes up he is immune for 10 seconds — and it can come up again before it ends. In practice, he spends most of the last 10% invincible, with short windows when the shield drops. Healing keeps working in the meantime.
The end#
The fight ends when Selupan dies, or when no one from the fight is left alive on the map — in that case he goes back to sleep and, after the reopening, the eggs come back.
The rewards#
Selupan is a major boss in the realm's economy:
- Whoever deals the most damage (a party adds up its members' damage) gets the owner prize straight into the Gremory Case — with a daily limit per account.
- Whoever dealt at least 10% of the damage gets the participation prize.
The tables are in Bosses, invasions and events. There is no exclusive Selupan drop — no Raklion item, special wing or unique ring.
The eggs drop nothing; the summons drop normally.
Raklion is also one of the six maps where items with a socket drop — which, on its own, already justifies spending the afternoon there.
Strategy#
- Go in a big group. There is no player limit, and 4.8 million health with 48,000 healing every 20 seconds demands collective damage.
- Ranged attackers stay more than 8 tiles away. That way the areas don't reach, and only his target has to worry about Freeze.
- Whoever fights up close needs health and healing. Within 6 tiles you take Poison, Ice Storm and Ice Strike back to back, one per second.
- Iron Defense stops Freeze. Use it before pulling his attention.
- Someone has to handle the turrets. They spawn right next to the boss and never leave; six of them alive at once is half a million health hitting whoever is close.
- Save your damage for the end. Below 10% he is invincible almost all the time: focus skills and buffs on the windows when the shield drops.
- Get in within the first 5 minutes. After that the gate closes and latecomers stay outside.
- If your group notices that his health bar isn't going down, leave. The healing won, and insisting only wastes potions.
