Quests and class change
The eight quests that take you from the base class to the fourth class, with the NPC, level, cost and reward for each one.
There are eight quests in Acheron World, and they all serve the same purpose: evolving your class. There are no errand or decorative collection quests — each one gives attribute points, unlocks skills or changes your character's name and power.
You follow everything through the Quests panel (📜 in the MENU) and the Missions card in the top left corner of the screen.
The four stages#
| Stage | Level | NPC | What you become |
|---|---|---|---|
| Second class | 150 | Sebina the Priest | Soul Master, Blade Knight, Muse Elf, Bloody Summoner |
| Hero | 220 | Marlon | stays the same, but gains a lot of points |
| Third class | 380 to 400 | Apostle Devin | Grand Master, Blade Master, High Elf, Duel Master, Lord Emperor, Dimension Master, Fist Master |
| Fourth class | total 800 (400 + Master Level 400) | Apostle Devin | Soul Wizard, Dragon Knight, Noble Elf, Magic Knight, Empire Lord, Dimension Summoner, Fist Blazer |
Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord and Rage Fighter have no second class. They jump straight from the base class to the third, starting with quest 4 at level 380. In exchange, they miss out on the point quests along the way — see the reward table at the end.
General rules#
- You must be within 8 tiles of the NPC to accept or turn in.
- Accepting charges zen. Cancelling returns nothing, and accepting again charges again — so only accept when you are going to do it.
- Cancelling doesn't erase the items you already gathered.
- In a party, kills and quest item drops count for everyone on the same map.
Quest 0 — Scroll of the Emperor#
- NPC: Sebina the Priest, in Devias (183, 32)
- Classes: Dark Wizard, Dark Knight, Fairy Elf, Summoner
- Level: 150
- Cost: 10,000 zen
- Objective: 1× Scroll of the Emperor, which drops from level 45 to 60 monsters, at 6% per kill
- Reward: +10 attribute points
Level 45 to 60 monsters are in Dungeon and at the end of Devias — you will kill them too fast at level 150, so pick a spot and go. With a 6% chance, expect around 17 kills.
Quest 1 — Proof of Courage (2nd class)#
- NPC: Sebina the Priest, in Devias (183, 32)
- Level: 150 · Requires: quest 0 completed
- Cost: 20,000 zen
- Objective: your class relic, from level 62 to 76 monsters, at 4.8% per kill:
| Class | Item |
|---|---|
| Dark Knight | Broken Sword |
| Fairy Elf | Tear of Elf |
| Dark Wizard | Soul Shard of Wizard |
| Summoner | Abyssal Eye |
- Reward: +10 attribute points and the second class
Here your character changes name and gains access to the second-class skills. See skills.
Quest 2 — Ring of Honor (Hero)#
- NPC: Marlon, in Devias (183, 30) — right next to Sebina
- Level: 220 · Requires: second class and quest 1
- Cost: 30,000 zen
- Objective: 1× Scroll of the Emperor +1, from level 72 to 108 monsters, at 4.8%
- Reward: +7 attribute points per level above 220, paid all at once
This is the most important quest in the game and a lot of people do it at the wrong time. Look at the math: the reward is (your level − 220) × 7 points.
- Doing it at level 220: 0 points.
- Doing it at level 300: 560 points.
- Doing it at level 400: 1,260 points.
Since each normal level gives only 5 points, this quest alone is worth 252 levels of attributes if you wait until 400. Don't do it early. Do it as late as possible, preferably at level 400, or at least when you really need the points.
For the Fairy Elf, this quest also unlocks the Infinity Arrow skill.
Quest 3 — Black Stone (Combo) — Dark Knight only#
- NPC: Marlon, in Devias (183, 30)
- Level: 220 · Requires: quest 2
- Cost: 20,000 zen
- Objective: 1× Broken Sword +1, from level 72 to 108 monsters, at 4.8%
- Reward: the Combo — Rageful Blow, Death Stab and Twisting Slash in sequence
It is what turns the Blade Knight into a real PvP character.
Quest 4 — Treasures of Darkness#
- NPC: Apostle Devin, in Crywolf (228, 48)
- Level: 380
- Requires: for DW, FE and SU, quest 2; for DK, quest 3; MG, DL and RF go straight in
- Cost: 50,000 zen
- Objective: three relics, each at 6.5% chance:
| Item | Drops from |
|---|---|
| Death-beam Knight Flame | Death Beam Knight |
| Hell-Miner Horn | Hell Maine |
| Dark Phoenix Feather | Phoenix of Darkness |
- Reward: +20 attribute points
The three monsters are on high-level maps. Take it easy and count on about 15 kills of each.
Quest 5 — Barracks Infiltration#
- NPC: Apostle Devin, in Crywolf (228, 48)
- Level: 400 · Requires: quest 4
- Cost: 70,000 zen
- Objective: kill 20 Balram, 20 Death Spirit and 20 Soram — 60 kills
- Reward: +20 attribute points
The three only exist in the Balgass Barracks, a closed map. To get in, talk to Werewolf Quarel, in Crywolf (62, 239): he opens the portal while the quest is active, as many times as you need.
Quest 6 — The Dark Elf (3rd class)#
- NPC: Apostle Devin, in Crywolf (228, 48)
- Level: 400 · Requires: quest 5
- Cost: 100,000 zen
- Objective: defeat the Dark Elf, in the Balgass Refuge
- Reward: +30 attribute points and the third class
To reach the Refuge, talk to the Gatekeeper, inside the Balgass Barracks, at (119, 168).
When you win, the whole server is notified and your character starts showing the third-class title.
Quest 7 — The Awakening (4th class)#
- NPC: Apostle Devin, in Crywolf (228, 48)
- Level: total 800 (400 + Master Level 400) · Requires: quest 6 (third class)
- Cost: 50,000,000 zen
- Objective: Cent's trials, in the 4th evolution zone. Talk to Cent next to Apostle Devin and she takes you there:
- Eligibility test — defeat Cent;
- New battle — defeat the 300 Deep Dungeon skeletons she summons (100 Skeleton Warriors, 100 Larvas and 100 Cyclops);
- Final battle — Cent comes back stronger (hits and takes 30% more), with an escort.
Each player fights their own monsters (no one steals your fight), and there is no PvP in the zone. To leave, talk to the Cent in the zone or use /move.
- Reward: the fourth class — Soul Wizard, Dragon Knight, Noble Elf, Magic Knight, Empire Lord, Dimension Summoner or Fist Blazer
The fourth class arrived on October 8, 2026, with the items from the newer seasons: the Awakening Soul set, the Soul weapons and the 4th wings can only be worn with it.
How much all this yields#
| Quest | Cost | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 0 — Scroll | 10,000 | +10 |
| 1 — Proof of Courage | 20,000 | +10 and 2nd class |
| 2 — Ring of Honor | 30,000 | +7 per level above 220 |
| 3 — Black Stone (DK only) | 20,000 | Combo |
| 4 — Treasures of Darkness | 50,000 | +20 |
| 5 — Infiltration | 70,000 | +20 |
| 6 — The Dark Elf | 100,000 | +30 and 3rd class |
| 7 — The Awakening | 50,000,000 | 4th class |
In total, a Dark Knight who does everything at level 400 spends 300,000 zen and receives 1,350 attribute points, the Combo and the two evolutions. It is the best zen investment in the game, by far.
What the evolution changes#
- Locked skills open. Many skills require the second or the third class. See skills.
- Title on the nameplate from the second class onward.
- The attributes are recalculated on the spot.
After the third class, the next step is the Master Level. At Master Level 400 (total level 800), go back to Apostle Devin for the fourth class.
