Party and Guild Matching

Post your party or your guild and find players on any map — requests, applications and invites on a single page.

Matching brings together players who are looking and players who are recruiting, without shouting in the general chat or standing next to anyone. Open it from the menu Trade & social → Matching. The page has two tabs: Party and Guild.

Party Matching#

Posting your party#

A party leader, or a player who is alone, can post. Alone works too: you become the leader when the first player joins.

A listing has:

  • Title — up to 40 characters (e.g. "Hunting in Aida, need an Elf").
  • Map or hunting area — or "anywhere".
  • Level range — by total level (level + Master Level), from 1 to 1000.
  • Classes wanted — all of them, or only the ones you tick.
  • Password (optional) — up to 8 letters or numbers. Only those who know it can join.
  • Auto join — players who meet the level and class join right away, without waiting for you to accept.

When someone asks to join, you get a notice in the chat and a red number shows up on the Matching button. On the page, each request shows the class, the level and the message of the player, with Accept and Decline.

The listing stays up for 30 minutes. At 25 minutes you get a notice; click Renew for another 30. It also comes down by itself when:

  • the party reaches 5 players;
  • you stop being the leader or leave the party you were advertising;
  • you leave the game.

Looking for a party#

The list shows the parties on offer, first the ones that accept you (level and class), then the ones on your map. You can filter by map and search by name or title.

  • Ask to join — the request goes to the leader. If the party has a password, type it before asking.
  • Join — on parties with auto join you get in right away.
  • You can have up to 3 requests waiting at the same time. A request with no answer disappears after 5 minutes.

Joining the list of players looking#

No party and no wish to pick one? Click Join the list, with a short message and the map where you want to hunt. Leaders with a listing see the list and can invite you from any map — the invite arrives in the usual box, with Accept. Your entry lasts 30 minutes and ends when you join a party.

Rules and limits#

  • Party rules still apply: 5 players at most and no parties inside Chaos Castle, Illusion Temple, Doppelganger, Imperial Fortress and the Duel Arena.
  • Declined? Wait 2 minutes to ask the same party again.
  • Wrong password 5 times? That party is locked for you for 5 minutes.
  • Each leader gets up to 10 requests waiting at once.
  • Titles and messages do not accept links or formatting.
  • In Test Mode Party Matching works, but only between testers.

Guild Matching#

Posting the guild#

The Guild Master and the officers post the guild by choosing:

  • the focus: Hunting, PvP and/or Events;
  • the minimum level;
  • the introduction (up to 160 characters).

The minimum level and the introduction are the same as in the Recruitment tab of the guild page: changing one changes the other. Posting also opens applications.

The listing stays up for 7 days. To keep it, click Save and renew. A guild with no free slots does not show up on the list.

The applicants#

There is one list of applicants: whoever applies through Matching also shows up in Guild → Recruitment, and the other way around. The master and the officers online get a notice in the chat and the red number on the Matching button. Accept puts the player in the guild right away — even if they are offline.

Looking for a guild#

Without a guild, the tab shows the guilds that are recruiting, from the most recently renewed to the oldest. Filter by focus, turn on Accept my level and search by name. Each guild shows its emblem, level, master, members, how many are online, focus and introduction.

Click Apply (with an optional message). The application lasts 7 days and can be cancelled.

Guild Matching does not exist in Test Mode: guilds belong to the real world.
