NPC shops
The single shop every vendor opens, where the vendors are, the fixed potion and ammo prices and how much the NPC pays for what you sell.
Since 10/06 every NPC that sells opens the same shop. Whether it's Potion Girl Amy, Hanzo or Oracle Layla inside Kalima: there's one catalog, with everything the MU vendors had, no repeats.
The tabs#
| Tab | What it has |
|---|---|
| ⚔ Weapons | swords, axes, maces and scepters, bows and crossbows, staffs — plus arrows and bolts (+0 to +3) |
| 🛡 Armor | shields, helms, armor, pants, gloves and boots, including the sets with Luck |
| 💍 Accessories | Guardian Angel, Devil Imp, Horn of Uniria and the Muun Energy Converter (1,000,000 zen) |
| 🧪 Potions | small, normal and large health and mana potions, in packs of 50 and 255 |
| 🎟 Events | Scroll of Archangel and Blood Bone (Blood Castle), Devil's Eye and Devil's Key (Devil Square), Armor of Guardsman (Chaos Castle), Gaion's Order, Mirror of Dimensions and Contract (Summon), plus the Switch Mode Switch Scroll (3,000,000 zen) |
In the weapons and armor tabs the My class only filter starts on: the list shows only what your class uses, split by type (swords, helms, boots…), and the type heading sticks to the top while you scroll. Turn the filter off to see everything. Click an item to buy it; hover to see the details.
Skill scrolls and orbs are not sold. Here a skill isn't learned from a scroll: it unlocks by itself when you reach the level or attribute requirement.
Where the vendors are#
| Map | Vendors |
|---|---|
| Lorencia | Potion Girl Amy, Hanzo the Blacksmith, Lumen the Barmaid, Pasi the Mage, Wandering Merchant and Wandering Merchant Alex |
| Devias | Caren the Barmaid, Wizard Izabel, Weapons Merchant Zienna and Natasha |
| Noria | Elf Lala and Eo the Craftsman |
| Elbeland | Silvia, Rhea and Marce |
| Crywolf | Hanzo the Blacksmith and Wandering Merchant Martin |
| Karutan | Leina and Weapons Merchant Bolo |
| Kalima (1 to 7) | Oracle Layla, right at the entrance |
Since they all sell the same thing, buy from the closest one.
Purchase price#
Potions and ammo: fixed price#
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Small Healing Potion / Small Mana Potion | 150 |
| Healing Potion / Mana Potion | 450 |
| Large Healing Potion / Large Mana Potion | 1,300 |
| Arrow / Bolt +0 | 300 |
| Arrow / Bolt +1 | 600 |
| Arrow / Bolt +2 | 900 |
| Arrow / Bolt +3 | 1,200 |
In the shop potions come in packs of 50 or 255, at the unit price × the quantity — Large Healing Potion x255 costs 331,500 zen.
Bought potions stack: if you already have a stack of the same item at the same level in your inventory, the purchase goes into it instead of taking another slot. Health and mana potions stack up to 255 (the x255 pack fits in a single stack); jewels and the rest, up to 100. Arrows and bolts don't stack when bought: each pack is one item with 255 shots.
Equipment: the formula#
The counter price of a piece of equipment comes from its level (the higher of the level requirement and the item level), the sum of the required attributes and the durability:
(level + 6)² × 40 + required attributes × 25 + durability × 30 — at least 200.
Rings, pendants and pets don't add durability. Then come the multipliers:
| Attribute | Multiplies the price by |
|---|---|
| Each refining level | +80% per level |
| Luck | ×1.25 |
| Skill | ×1.5 |
| Additional option | +15% per point |
| Excellent | +50% per option |
Selling to the NPC#
The NPC pays little, on purpose. The math:
[(level requirement or item level) × 350 + durability × 5] × (1 + item level × 0.5) × (1 + 10% Luck + 10% Skill + 10% per option point) × 0.09
And never more than 20% of the purchase price of the same item in the shop. Some examples:
| Item | Shop price | The NPC pays |
|---|---|---|
| Leather Armor with Luck | 16,425 | 361 |
| Light Plate Armor with Luck | 235,588 | 2,169 |
| Contract (Summon) | 1,440 | 146 |
The NPC does not buy: jewels, boxes, gems, excellent, ancient or socket items, +7 or higher, or anything from the Rare tier up (wings, for example). See Item value.
Two consequences:
- An item with Luck, Skill or an option is worth far more between players. Put it in your personal shop or fuse the excellent at Elpis to turn it into a Higher refining stone. See Jewel of Harmony.
- Buying to resell always loses money: the NPC never pays more than 20% of what it charges.
The "Sell all" button#
It's at the bottom of the inventory. It sells at once all the loose equipment in your inventory that the NPC buys — weapons, shields and armor. It doesn't touch jewels, potions, wings, rings or quest items, and it leaves in your inventory what is protected (excellent, ancient, socket, +7 or higher) and what the NPC doesn't buy.
Sell all doesn't need an NPC or distance, and charges no tax. It's handy for clearing junk after a farming session — review your inventory first.
Sold something by mistake? The Buy back button, right next to it, lists the pieces that went out with Sell all in the last 30 minutes (up to 20) and returns each one for the same zen it paid. The list is cleared when you log out.
With a full inventory, the Common or Uncommon item you pick up is sold on the spot for the same price; the rest stays on the ground. See zen.
Repair#
Any NPC that has a shop also repairs, through the 🔧 Repair equipment button at the bottom, within 6 tiles of them — any vendor in the list above.
Repair fixes everything at once, and VIP gives up to 50% off. See durability and repair.
In practice#
- buy potions in bulk: they stack in the inventory;
- any vendor works — the shop is the same everywhere, so stock up at the closest one;
- as a Fairy Elf, arrows and bolts are in the Weapons tab: every shot uses one, and without ammo the shot doesn't fire;
- selling potions in your personal shop is still good business: everyone uses them.
