Guild war

The master challenges another guild, both bet zen from the vault and for 24 h each enemy kill is worth 1 point. The winner takes the pot.

A guild war is how a rivalry gets settled: a guild master challenges another guild, both put zen from the vault on the table and, for 24 hours, each kill of a member of the enemy guild is worth 1 point. Whoever has more points at the end takes the pot.

Declaring war#

Only the guild master can declare. In the War tab of the guild page, pick the enemy guild and the bet — or use the chat:

  • /war <guild> <zen> — for example /war Wolves 5m (k and m work);
  • /war accept and /war refuse — for the challenged master to answer (the challenger uses /war refuse to cancel).

Rules to declare:

  • the minimum bet is 1,000,000 zen, and both vaults must have the amount;
  • both guilds need at least 5 members;
  • each guild can only be in one war at a time (including a pending challenge);
  • after a war, the same two guilds wait 24 h before fighting again.

The challenger's bet leaves the vault right away and stays reserved. The challenged master has 10 minutes to accept — at that moment their bet leaves the vault too. If they refuse or don't answer, the whole reservation goes back to the challenger's vault.

During the war#

  • It lasts 24 hours from the moment it is accepted.
  • Each kill of a member of the enemy guild is worth 1 point, on any map where you can attack each other.
  • Anti-farm: the same player killing the same victim only scores once every 5 minutes.
  • Members of the two guilds attack each other without becoming PK, like in the original MU. Everything else still applies: duels, the PK limit and maps without PvP (Devil Square, Blood Castle…) follow the usual rules, and kills inside Chaos Castle don't count.
  • A side panel shows the live score, the emblems, the time left and your kills. The start is announced to the whole server.

The result#

ResultWhat happens
VictoryThe winner takes the total bet minus 10% (the 10% disappear: it is a zen sink for the economy)
DrawEach guild gets its own bet back

The end is also announced to the server. The victory counts toward the "War winner (N)" title and the war ranking in the War tab, along with your war history.

In the Guild league, the winner gets 50 points and both get 10 for taking part.

Other guild confrontations#

The declared war does not replace the other formats:

  • Castle Siege, every Saturday, is worth owning the castle for a week;
  • Gens are the permanent rivalry between the two families;
  • Territories decide, every week, which guild rules each hunting map.
