Global market
Every personal shop on the server in a single list, with remote buying and no fee.
The global market is the whole server's storefront. It gathers, in a single list, every item for sale in every open personal shop — and you buy without leaving your spot.
This is one of the systems that differs the most from classic MU, where finding an item meant walking from city to city reading shop names.
How to use it#
Market button in the side menu.
The list shows, for each item: the name with its attributes, the price, the seller, the shop name and which map it is on.
Click and buy. The item goes straight to your inventory and the zen goes straight to the seller, from any map, at any distance.
The rules#
- There is no fee. Neither for the buyer nor for the seller.
- There is no auction, deadline or bid. It is a fixed price, first to click gets it.
- There is no separate listing. The market is just a window into the personal shops — to sell, open yours.
- If the seller closes the shop, changes maps or sells the item to someone else, the offer disappears.
The server checks everything at purchase time: if the item, the price or the currency changed since you opened the list, the sale is refused and nobody loses anything — open it again and check.
What this changes in the game#
A single price. Since everyone sees everything, there is no "Lorencia square price" different from the "Devias price". The global market flattens the server's price.
Rare items find an owner. An excellent piece you don't use doesn't sit stuck waiting for someone to walk by your shop. It shows up for the server's 1,000 players.
Farming turns into money. If you farm jewels or mid-tier items, the market is the difference between selling to the NPC for a symbolic amount and selling for double or triple to a player.
How to buy well#
- Compare first. The list usually has several similar items; look at the
+N, the options and the durability before clicking. - Watch the durability. The price doesn't always reflect how worn the item is. See durability and repair.
- An item with Luck is worth more than it seems. It raises the critical, improves the Jewel of Soul chance and adds 20 percentage points on the Chaos Machine.
- Watch out for excellent wings. Two of the six excellent options don't work on wings on this server. See excellent.
- Watch out for a 380 item outside the list. Only 40 items in the game get a real bonus from the 380 seal. See 380 items.
How to sell well#
- Open your shop and leave it open. It shows up in the market for the whole server, even if you are standing still in an empty city.
- Don't sell jewels to the NPC. Ever. Jewels always have a buyer here.
- Never sell an excellent item to the NPC. The counter ignores excellent, Luck, Skill and option in the price — you get the value of a common item.
- Potions sell on their own. Only one NPC in the whole world sells potions, and it is inside Kalima.
